The Roman gods live on through names of the months, the days of the week, the celestial bodies, and so much more. These deities were credited with ruling over the dawn, the wind, war, and even other gods and goddesses. The stories of these mythical figures provided fodder for exceptional music during the Renaissance period and inspired composers to find creative ways to tell colorful stories through music.
